Located in E Bay and just a short walk away from the surf spots at E Bay, Pitstops and Beng-Beng, Blue Surfcamp is a great spot for your Mentawai surf trip on a budget. Ade will pick you up at the harbor in Siberut and be there for you during your stay. Three Meals as well as non-alcoholic drinks like Coconut water, tea, coffee etc. are included in the price, boat rides to surf spots which are further away are excluded.

Important: Please consider while planning our trip ferries to Siberut don't depart daily. It is best to arrive in Padang city (Minangkabau International Airport) on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Ferry service to Siberut Island departs next morning from Padang to Muara Harbor at 07:00 am. You can check the ferry Schedule HERE
Tour Notes
- Explore Muara, depending on the tidal conditions you might get a chance to spend some in Muara on your first and last day
- Good to disconnect and relax, no Wifi and usualy no network at this Surfcamp, Wifi can be bought at neighboring ones, network connection depends on the weather due to the remotenes of the Island
- Exchange your cash in Padang and bring a sufficient amount, there are no ATM's which except foreign cards on the Islands or in towns nearby such as Muara Siberut
Day 1. Arrival
After taking the ferry from Padang in the morning, guests will arrive in the early afternoon at Muara Harbor, where Kept will await them. Kept will take your luggage off the guests and usually transport them to Muara's town center for lunch while he prepares the boat. It depends on the day's tidal conditions how long the stay in Muara will be, as certain routs South can only be taken at sufficiently high waters. Once conditions are ripe, guests will be taken to Masukut Island where the Surfcamp is located. Going to Masukut will take about an hour. There Guests will be shown to their rooms and get a chance to settle in and if the conditions are right guests might be able to go out for a surf around the corner at Pitstops or E Bay.
Following Days
There are no fixed schedules, staff will adapt to the guests. If there are any needs, questions concerning surf conditions or the desire to visit waves which are further away, kept will provide guidance at any time. Pitstops is a good choice most days it's proximity also allows guests to go there in between.
Last Day
Depending on tidal conditions, guests will leave the after breakfast at some point thought the morning. Kept will inform guests at least a day prior. In Muara kept will store any luggage, while guests have a chance for lunch. Kept will bring guests to the harbor, help them buy tickets and with their luggage. The ferry will leave Muara in the afternoon and arrive in Padang in the evening
